The Senior Art Director is responsible for generating creative communication. Their area of focus is any visuals, design, layout, and photography that accompany copy from a Copywriter.


Qualifications/ Experience

  • 8+ years of work experience as an art director with proof of shoot experience and qualifications in art or design.
  • Strong portfolio of past (award-winning would be great) work
  • Ability to identify the right director, photographer, illustrator, etc. towards great output and build strong relationships with them towards serving excellence
  • Know the importance of brand awareness and thought leadership
  • Understanding of social media marketing (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, other) is crucial

Team SLA Compliance

  • Meet weekly, monthly, campaign and special creative project deadlines.
  • Ensuring assigned tasks have been completed in the agreed timeframe.


Creative Excellence

  • To produce and craft original and usable concepts with an Art Director and Copywriter team in response to creative briefs.
  • Roll out creative concepts across a number of digital platforms.
  • Mock-up of design ideas across a number of elements.
  • Create digital and social media content.
  • Create weekly presentations and review with the creative director.
  • Manage large workloads efficiently and effectively.
  • To work within a creative team, as a team player ready to take on any project that may come into the creative studio.
  • To present work internally and externally in a clear and professional manner.
  • Work closely with relevant account teams, ensuring effective communication and management of teams’ expectations.
  • Work with account teams to understand the clients’ brand and manage projects in a way that will support the delivery of the brand.
  • To manage and take ownership of projects from origination to completion
  • Accurate recording of work time.
  • Ability to keep up to date with industry trends and standards in order to ensure that work is always fresh, world-class, and original.


Earned Media Excellence

  • Act as the brand custodian to the brands you work on, generating creative communication driving Earned Media excellence.


Team Work / Accountability

  • Take accountability as the Mid Art Director on the brands you work on, connecting with relevant teams to drive the adoption of earned Media.
